Well, Ideally what would happen is someone would take a single photo and pass it on to someone else. This way people are forced to think about what they are going to take a picture of. Hopefully it will be something that has some sort of meaning to that person or to their location.
I like the idea of having people think about what they are photographing. I think that’s something that is lost to many of us because now with digital cameras and every phone having a camera, we’re too used to the instant gratification of taking a photo and uploading it to Instagram or Facebook within minutes of it being taken. Not much thought is put into photos these days.
I’ve deposited cameras in the following States/Cities last week, Some of which have already been found:
- Fort Collins
- Estes Park
- Rapid City
- Crazy Horse
- Mount Rushmore
If you found one please let me know, And thank you to those who have already contacted me!
Also if you do find one, take a photo of yourself with it and send it in!
Actually, disposable cameras are going out of style. Which is why I need this project to succeed. To keep them alive!
