I didn’t take a picture of the last camera because I gave it to a guy heading to Kingston. Turns out he’s a film maker!
Safe travels, camera 182!
A Disposable Camera Project by Photographer R.J. Caputo
I am leaving disposable cameras wherever I travel. I may leave them in restaurants, bars, hotels, truck stops, airports, anywhere!. I’ll even hand them out to people along the way. Who knows where you may find them.
People are picking them up, taking a photo and passing them on, with the hopes of one day returning home - so I can share with you, the fantastic photos and the stories behind them.
If you have a camera, and it’s ready to be developed, please return to the following address:
ATTN: R.J. Caputo P.O. Box 4176 Great Neck, NY 11023
If you have any difficulty mailing them back due to the cost of shipping, You won’t even have to pay to send it back! I will be more then happy to mail you, a self addressed stamped envelope. You will just need to provide me an address to send the S.A.S.E to.
Once I start receiving cameras, upon development I will be posting all the photos on this website. The cameras are numbered so it will be easy to catalog their travels. I would love to here from you! In the mean time, you can check out this blog while I wait for the cameras to return home.
If you are currently in possession of a camera, please let me know by sending me an email to PassItOn@RJCaputo.com. I would love to hear from you. Keep in mind this project is still in it’s infancy and I will be constantly updating on the whereabouts of the cameras. So please check back often.
Thank you so much for participating!
